Our Story

Middle Springs Farm sits outside the small, welcoming community of North Middletown, Kentucky just minutes from Paris, Winchester, Mt. Sterling and a half hour from east Lexington. The drive to Middle Springs Farm—from all directions—is as scenic as the property itself, passing through some of the most storied horse farms in the world.

 

Greeting you upon arrival is the Rice House, circa 1897—a remarkable example of Queen Anne-style Victorian Architecture—and home of the Menke (Main-Key) Family who run Middle Springs Farm.

Fall of 2022 was the grand opening of Middle Springs Farm to the public. We followed that up in 2023 with Daffodil Days and Easter Fun, our Memorial Day Weekend Poppy Festival, and summertime Fireflies & S'mores! Click under "Seasons of Farm Fun" for details.
