Photographers

Policies, Terms & Conditions

We love to share our farm with the community, including photographers!

You don't have to be a professional photographer to book a time to come out - everyone is welcome.

Read through this section and then book a time by clicking the link below.

HOURS:

We are open to the public seasonally throughout the year, usually on Saturdays 10am-6pm and Sundays 12pm-5pm (during the events). During these open hours, we just ask that everyone pays regular admission (photographers and clients; there is no additional fee).

If you would like to use our farm for photo sessions outside of our regular open hours, you're in the right place! We can accommodate you year-round, any day of the week and any time of the day (yes, during golden hour too!).

BOOKING:

During peak demand when we have flower fields in bloom, we use the booking system below. This helps us process the fees for photography passes, keep track of everyone with a pass, and ensure that each time slot is not overbooked.

Please take a look at the available dates and times through the below booking system. If you would like to book a session outside of these dates (when flower fields are not in peak bloom), feel free to contact us via our contact form, Facebook Messenger, or call us (8:30am-6pm please).

If your booked time gets rained out, we will do our best to reschedule you at no additional fee. Otherwise, your booking is non-refundable and non-transferable (though we do try our best to make everyone happy).

Note on times: You are responsible for checking sunrise/sunset times before booking your time. They change considerably over a season, even week to week. Dawn is ~30 min before sunrise. Dusk is ~30 min after sunset. Here's a handy resource to check: www.sunrisesunsettime.org

Note on dates: We have a pretty good idea of approximately when flowers will be in bloom based on when they were planted BUT this is an estimate - not exact! The weather does slow them down or speed them up. So follow us on Facebook or Instagram for updates or feel free to ask (preferably through Facebook messenger or email).

FACILITIES:

We have portalet restroom(s) that you are welcome to use but not running water (during open hours, we have a handwashing station but it gets turned off otherwise).

PARKING:

If it has not rained recently and the ground is DRY, you may drive down the hill, past the metal Grain Bin building, and park in the mowed lawn near the picnic tables... HOWEVER if your vehicle is leaking fluids, PLEASE park in the gravel lot at the top of the hill and walk the short distance to the flower field. Your vehicle MUST leave the flower field area before we open to the general public (Saturdays at 10am, Sundays at noon).

Please take note of the following rules:

  • Please stick to your booking time to avoid overcrowding adjacent times. If you arrive early, you may remain parked at the Grain Bin building parking lot (feel free to get out and stretch).

  • Please leave the farm the way you found it. Take trash home with you. Tread lightly.

  • You may pick flowers for a fee. Let us know (ahead of time if possible) through Facebook Messenger or email so we can send you a pay link. Picking without paying is theft.

  • You may move our photo props around but please don't leave them hidden from view.

  • Drones are prohibited during regular open hours and booking hours (message us if you'd like to set up a time to fly when no other guests will be present).

  • Smoking, vaping, and alcohol are prohibited. You may smoke inside your vehicle only.

  • Middle Springs Farm assumes no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to any equipment or belongings.
